New Expressions of the Church

THE FOLLOWING ARE CREATIVE NEW EXPRESSIONS OF THE CHURCH ASSOCIATED WITH NORTHWEST COAST PRESBYTERY & CONGREGATIONS

Collide

Women colliding with Jesus to experience authenticity, wholeness, and purpose.

What began as one woman’s story of colliding with Jesus in the midst of her brokenness has grown into a movement of thousands of women who are daring to believe that God meets them in their pain and and uses it to meet others in theirs.

Renewal Ministries NW
Compline Worshiping Community

Compline Prayer
Thursdays at 8 pm (Pacific Time)

This quiet, contemplative time is an opportunity to end your day in peace and in the presence of the Holy Spirit through prayer and reflective instrumental music.

Through prayer and reflection, we will turn our focus back to God, our one true source of strength. This time for listening and stillness will calm and restore your soul, leaving you refreshed and encouraged.

1001 Movement

New Worshipping Communities Nationwide associated with PC(USA) provides resources to fuel the movement.

Resurrection Fellowship

We are building a monthly gathering of healing and belonging in the Skagit Valley for men and women who have risen from the tombs of jail and prison, and are now--like Lazarus--building their resurrected futures in community together.

Organizers: Genaro Sanchez, Tony Cienfuegos, Chris Hoke

Hosts/Partners: Underground Ministries + Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church

Started in July 2019, Jazz Vespers is a monthly jazz worship experience at Lake Forest Park Presbyterian Church. Jazz Vespers are free events open to the whole community.

Samish Island Fellowship

After moving to Samish Island, Rev. Janice Smith started a Bible study that is now the Samish Island Fellowship. The fellowship meets 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 7pm via Zoom.

To serve the community, this group invited people to bring protein items for the food pantry on the island.
