Poverty 101 workshop at Maplewood Presbyterian

Dear partners in ministry,

I would like to invite you and members of your congregation to participate in a Poverty 101 workshop, hosted at Maplewood Presbyterian Church and led by Everett Gospel Mission, on Saturday, November 4th.  We are glad to be hosting this in person!  The need to understand the sources of poverty and homelessness are as important as ever, along with equipping our congregations to provide the right kind of help.  This workshop will provide both.

If this is of interest to you and to folks in your congregation, would you be willing to advertise it in your communications?  People can register online using the following link: https://www.eventbrite.com/o/everett-gospel-mission-16282977523

The workshop begins at 9:00a.m. and ends by 3:00p.m.  A continental breakfast and lunch will be served.  There is no cost for the workshop.  There will be an outdoor learning activity, so if it's raining, folks will want to wear a rain jacket or bring an umbrella.

If you have any questions, contact Dan'l Markham at Everett Gospel Mission (dmarkham@egmission.org) or call Maplewood Presbyterian Church (425-778-5248).

Please feel free to pass this along to others you think would benefit from this workshop.

God's grace and peace,

Hallack Greider
